About

With a decade of experience as a human-centred design practitioner, Michelle is driven by her natural curiosity and her love of problem-solving. Her belief in designing for a world where everyone can thrive has been central to her design practice.

Before becoming a designer, Michelle studied at the University of Calgary, focusing on international development and human rights. After several years of working for non-profits such as Amnesty International, Journalists for Human Rights, and Doctors without Borders, she went on to complete a post-graduate study at the Institute without Boundaries. There, she used a holistic, systems approach to create sustainable design solutions which still inform her work today.

In her free time, Michelle is a ceramist and sculptor.
